  3. I miss Camp Wakonda soooooo much. I went to the sports camp last summer and I look forward to attending again this summer. Can’t forget the Squeegy Hunt, or rest hour of course. Rest hour, rest hour, YAY YAY YAY, it’s our favorite time of the day!!!! Being 12 and the only camp I’ve been to is Wakonda, that’s the only camp I’ll ever go to!!!

  4. I saw an add that you needed life guards and was wondering if you were still hiring.

  5. I’ve been going to camp for a loooooooong time. It’s really special to me. I am going to Canada in June and was glad when I found out that i was still able to go to camp. I really like how you have many different dates so you can fit everyone in at the same time. So if you’re planning 2 go 2 camp, make sure you have an empty calander!!!

  6. I appreciate my being able to go to the older camp and i hope to see you soon at Roughin’ It!!!!

  7. Me and my friends have been going to this camp for meny years now and weve had sooo much fun gettin away from it all but now that were older and want to stay longer our days have been cut short!!!! So its not that fun anymore. :( I would just like to make a request to Ben or who ever is going to be the new director…..PLEASE LET US GO BACK TO THE WEEK THING!!! Or if u really love me you’d make it two!!lol

  8. Greetings to Wakonda Alumni,

I attended the Camp before the lodge was built and when Mrs. Cochran prepared all of our delicious meals in a tent! I also worked several seasons with the incomparable Rev. Briner (the Governor) and my mentor and friend Dick Barnard. Hope to share stories with you at the reunion.
